Norway, here I come!

Very excited to go to Oslo to join the judging panel for the National Norwegian Graphic Design Awards (Visuelt), an annual ceremony which gives tribute to the professionals working with visual communication in Norway. Established in 1993, Visuelt has gradually grown to become the most important competition for designers and illustrators in Norway. They have also announced that the judging panel is 50/50 – great stuff!

I have been invited to be part of the Visuelt 2016 judging panel for the category Digital Design. The group consists of four Norwegian and myself. And we have an important role in selecting the awarded projects and in contributing to set the standards for the Norwegian Design scene.

Visuelt (grafill.no/visuelt) is an annual event for the creative industry in Norway and is a main arena for inspiration, exchange, learning and networking. Visuelt is organized by Grafill, the Norwegian Association for Design and Illustration.

The jury members from all categories meet at Grafill premises in Oslo, for 3 full days of intense discussions judging 6-700 entries. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony in Oslo on the 3rd of June.
