Remember the dates, Saturday 30th April - Sunday 1st May 2016. Hyper Island is facilitating a startup bootcamp proudly supported by the Techstars community.
It’s a startup event that brings together international designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and experts from all domains to create amazing things. All are welcome to pitch their startup idea. Teams form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and embark on a two-day frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekend culminates with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.
Are you ready to put yourself in the shoes of an entrepreneur?
You can expect top notch mentors, design thinkers, and creative people building companies from scratch. It’s also a unique chance to see a good chunk of the London tech scene-popping by during the weekend too. It won’t be a usual startup hackathon; we’ll be offering plenty of Hyper Island infused workshops, methodologies and action throughout the days.
Be part of something exciting over the weekend!
On the Saturday morning, the teams get created and they go through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation helped by renowned industry mentors. On Sunday, all teams present their ideas in front of a larger audience and a sharp-looking, sharp-minded jury. Yep, you go from an idea to an actual functioning startup in hours! There won't be much sleep, but you'll meet people you don't bump into on a regular Friday night in the pub.
